Match both teaching format and worldview
Preview a science lesson, a history lesson and a reading selection. Check how the material handles theology and the topics your family considers important. Then decide whether the daily routine should be textbooks, recorded instruction, literature discussion or short workbooks. Shared faith labeling does not make those teaching experiences interchangeable.
Full-grade package or one subject at a time?
A full-grade kit can simplify planning, but check every included subject and the reading and math levels. A family can also combine Christian Light for selected subjects, Notgrass for history or Apologia for science. Count the full materials list before comparing a single-subject price with a complete grade package.
Check the parent workload before buying
