Is Christian Light mastery-based or spiral?

The publisher describes Sunrise Edition as spiral learning. Finishing a LightUnit does not mean earlier concepts disappear: review is built into later lessons. If your child needs frequent retrieval practice, try a sample lesson and watch whether the mix of new and familiar work helps. Check the edition of each subject because not every course uses the same format.

How should you choose a starting level?

Use the publisher’s math and language arts diagnostic tests before ordering. A child may need different levels in different subjects. Review the missed skills and lesson samples instead of choosing from age alone, especially when switching from a different sequence.

What belongs in a complete CLE order?

Build the quote by subject and level. Include the student LightUnits, the appropriate teacher materials and answer keys, and any required readers or manipulatives. Check what you already own and what siblings can reuse. A single workbook price is not the cost of teaching a complete subject or grade.
